Self-Directed Search (SDS)

(a self-assessment) – After utilizing this program, you will receive a detailed printout that will include suggested careers and fields of study, based on your highest interests and competencies. Please visit UCO Career Services to complete the booklet and enter your scores into the system to receive your results.  No appointment needed.

Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

(an online personality-based indicator) – This assessment provides a list of careers suggested for each personality type.  Please visit UCO Career Services to pick up the instruction materials. Interpretation appointment required.

Newly Revised Strong Interest Inventory

(an online interest indicator) – This comprehensive assessment reports specific interests, learning, leadership, risk-taking, and personal styles linked to various jobs, work settings and career fields. Please visit UCO Career Services to pick up the instruction materials.  Interpretation appointment required.
